Louisiana Fuel Football

Have you ever had a dream that you wanted to turn into a reality? There is a group of women right here in this area that have done just that! Introducing the Louisiana Fuel, an all women's full contact, full tackle football team based out of Baton Rouge. And yes, they do hit, and yes, they do tackle! They are gearing up for their 3rd season in a drive to be the next champions of their league. That league is the Independent Women's Football League (IWFL), a full tackle women's football league. The league was  established to create a positive, safe, and fun environment for the   women who play the game and fans that come out to watch them.  There   are currently over 1000 women playing the sport for more than 48 IWFL  teams across North America.

The Fuel was founded in 2006 by a group of female athletes  who shared a common goal - to play tackle football. Our players come from all walks of life to play the sport. They have professional careers, are college students and even mothers. This is the best kept secret in this area. Come help The Fuel spread the word and become a Fuel player and supporter. Several Fuel players already have 5 years experience the league. They are striving to build that foundation into a championship team. If you have that determination, fight, willingness to motivate yourself, and looking to excel at a new endeavor, the Fuel wants you! Scheduled Games run from April to June. Open tryouts for the upcoming season are October 3rd and November 7th. Registration is from 8-9am. Tryouts are from 10am-12pm each date. Located at 8160 Antioch, Baton Rouge, LA 70807.  Do you have what it takes? ALL IN!
